Equity Strategist - Macro Hedge Fund

Our client, a highly regarded global macro investment firm, is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its investment team in Austin.

The successful candidate will generate thematic, catalyst-driven investment ideas across single stocks and ETFs
, combining bottom-up fundamental analysis with a macro perspective. The focus is on identifying opportunities over a 3-6 month investment horizon
, rather than trading around earnings announcements.

• Develop high-conviction long and short equity ideas through a macro lens.
• Conduct fundamental company analysis, valuation and financial statement review.
• Identify medium-term catalysts and thematic investment opportunities.
• Present investment recommendations to senior portfolio managers.

• 3-8+ years' experience in a hedge fund, asset manager, equity research or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of equity markets and macroeconomic drivers.
• Fundamental research and financial analysis skills.
• Passion for investing and generating differentiated ideas.
