Foundation Fund is one of the fastest-growing software investment funds, with 0 billion in AUM, and focuses exclusively on investing in growing enterprise software businesses with initial revenue between 0 million and 00 million.

This full-time role is based in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify new M&A investment opportunities in B2B software
- Proactively source and build M&A pipelines via direct outreach to executives and sponsors, attending industry events and conferences, and tracking market trends
- Support the deal team in M&A research around new investment opportunities
- Manage and support strategic M&A opportunities for existing portfolio companies

Qualifications:

- BS/BA required- 2-6 years of relevant professional experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or consulting; software investing experience preferred
- Knowledge of M&A processes, including sourcing and deal structuring
- Proven ability to evaluate markets and companies through financial analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and industry research
- Demonstrated track record managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced deal environment with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with senior executives
- Interest or expertise in B2B software or technology-related sectors
- Intellectually curious with high analytical horsepower
