You will work closely with treasury management, capital markets, wealth, retail, credit, and other internal partners to deliver complete financial solutions. - Leadership visibility
Prior market leadership experience in Austin or Lakeway is strongly preferred, making this a compelling opportunity for a banker who has already earned trust in the market and wants to keep building with a respected banking platform.
- Develop and execute a business development plan to grow a commercial loan and deposit portfolio in the Austin metro market.
- Build consultative relationships with prospects and clients by delivering thoughtful banking solutions.
- Source new commercial relationships through direct calling, COI relationships, referrals, community presence, and market intelligence.
- Manage the flow of loan and deposit requests through the appropriate internal channels.
- Structure, price, and recommend commercial credit solutions that align with client needs and bank objectives.
- Underwrite loan requests within bank policy and submit accurate, complete loan packages to credit partners.
- Manage and service an assigned commercial loan portfolio.
- Partner with credit to properly risk grade loans and update risk grades as client circumstances change.
- Collaborate with treasury management, capital markets, wealth, retail, and other internal teams to deepen client relationships.
- Grow deposit relationships and identify treasury management opportunities.
- Resolve client issues and provide superior service to existing commercial clients.
- Maintain complete loan and deposit documentation and clear any documentation or compliance deficiencies.
- Stay current on federal and state lending regulations, fair lending practices, and bank policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with COIs and community leaders to enhance the bank's image and reputation in the Austin market.
- 10 plus years of commercial lending, commercial banking, or relationship management experience.
- Current portfolio of approximately $50MM to $75MM in loan relationships, with an emphasis on C&I lending.
- Current deposit relationships of approximately $50MM or greater preferred.
- Strong experience with loan structuring, credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Experience calling on privately held companies, business owners, operating companies, and commercial clients.
