** About the Role
** UTIMCO (The University of Texas Investment Management Company) is hiring an Associate to join its Private Equity team, focused on fund investments across the endowment's private markets portfolio.
** Key Responsibilities**- Assist in managing a portfolio of private investments, including monitoring manager performance and risk, and maintaining relationships with investment partners
- Conduct periodic updates to due diligence and on-site visits with fund managers
- Source and assess new fund investment opportunities via industry contacts and events
- Lead comprehensive due diligence on prospective fund investments — manager analysis, risk, operations, reference checks, and legal document review with counsel
- Support negotiation of investment structuring and terms
- Assist the Senior Managing Director with asset allocation decisions and portfolio evaluation
