The goal of Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI) is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. As a Specialist within PAI, you will be responsible for accurately executing high volumes of incoming documents, researching activity, managing relationships with internal business partners, and ensuring absolute compliance with all regulatory requirements of ERISA Law.

This group is responsible for supporting transactions that are triggered by the death or divorce of a client.

You will be expected to meet client expectations by managing volumes of incoming of work, researching large lists of data, looking for data discrepancies, driving communications to participants, ensuring rules and regulations are met regarding 'Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)' requirements, and communicating with other departments. The specialist will be responsible for meeting all deadlines required to fulfill RMDs each year and process thousands of participant elections, specifically in the last part of the year.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various departments
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Access
  • Higher level knowledge of MS Excel
  • Creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to interpret client and participant needs
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to commute to one of Charles Schwab’s work location in Austin, TX or Richfield, OH 3-4 days per week
  • College degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial Services experience.
