Regional Banking Internship

• Gain hands-on experience aligned with area of study
• Support client growth, business development, credit analysis, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives across local markets
• Collaborate with experienced professionals supporting commercial banking, small business banking, regional leadership, and client relationship management
• Support projects involving market research, portfolio analysis, business development initiatives, client presentations, process improvement, and data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate directly with a manager
• Support organization and department initiatives
• Provide recommendations to improve the department
• Work independently and within a team
• Participate in internship events, professional development sessions, volunteer activities, team projects, and internal events
• Engage with executive and senior leaders regarding career paths and Huntington’s business areas

• High School graduate
• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university with at least one quarter/semester of school remaining after completion of the summer program
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Course(s) of study applicable to the area of business
• Interest in banking as a career
• Relevant majors may include Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking and Financial Services, Management, Marketing, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, or related business disciplines
• Relevant coursework may include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commercial Banking, Financial Statement Analysis, Business Analytics, Statistics, Risk Management, Strategic Management, Marketing, Sales and Relationship Management, Business Communication, Operations Management, or related coursework
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
