We are seeking a Cash Applications Analyst to join our Americas (AMR) Order-to-Cash team,with global presence across Austin, TX, Cork, Shanghai, and Singapore. This is a unique and dynamic role for someone who brings equal discipline to daily finance operations and genuine curiosity for what automation and data can unlock.
As a Cash Applications Analyst, you will play an active role across finance operations,automation, and data reporting — driving process improvement and contributing to our future state operating model in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end cash application and reconciliation process across AMR
- markets, utilizing automated solutions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Investigate and resolve payment exceptions and discrepancies that require human
- insight and analytical problem-solving, complementing our automated workflows.
- Partner with the global Cash Apps team, and business stakeholders to deliver
- operational excellence and process optimization.
- Analyze processes to identify trends and root causes of discrepancies. Proactively map
- out processes and implement digital solutions to streamline workflows.
- Drive innovation by continuously identifying manual processes and developing
- automated solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Current experience in the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance operations or a related field within a large-scale,
- multinational organization.
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate business needs into actionable
- requirements across finance and technical teams
- Global mindset, working effectively across time zones and cultures to align cross-
- regional teams
- Experience in Cash Applications, Accounts Receivable, or Order-to-Cash operations within a high-volume, global environment.
- Proficiency using Tableau, Dataiku, and approved AI platforms to build dashboards and automation tools.
- Proven analytical skills to transform data into actionable insights and drive process improvements and automation.
- Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliation, period-end close, and GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Intellectually curious and analytically sharp; absorbs complex systems quickly to develop scalable solutions in an evolving environment
- Self-directed, owning work end-to-end and delivering consistently.
