Commercial Loan Closer

Tarvos Talent is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Funder to join our clients' Loan Operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring commercial loans are accurately and timely funded while meeting internal policies and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files and verify all approval and closing conditions are met before funding.
• Process wires, ACHs, checks, construction advances, and other loan disbursements.
• Coordinate funding with Loan Officers, Closers, attorneys, title companies, escrow agents, and borrowers.
• Identify and resolve documentation or funding exceptions.
• Reconcile funding transactions and maintain accurate loan records.
• Handle post-closing activities, payoffs, lien releases, and collateral exceptions.
• Support audits, process improvements, and other Loan Operations functions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of banking, lending, loan processing, or loan servicing experience.
• Commercial lending experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan processing systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Notary Public commission preferred or ability to obtain.
