This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, influencing business decisions, and helping drive profitability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong FP&A experience, advanced modeling skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, or plant operations is highly preferred. Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions
- Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to analyze production costs, inventory, labor, and profitability
- Perform monthly variance analysis and identify key business drivers
- Analyze inventory trends, material costs, overhead absorption, and manufacturing performance metrics
- Create executive-level reporting packages and present findings to senior leadership
- Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling and financial analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
- Assist with capital expenditure analysis and ROI evaluations
- Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance experience
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Net Suite, or similar platforms
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools preferred
- Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
