Floyd's 99 Barbershop in South Austin, TX is hiring a full- or part-time Certified Barber who's ready to join some of the best in the industry in making clients feel amazing! The highly talented stylists and barbers at our South Austin shop (conveniently located off of Brodie Lane in Sunset Valley, a hub for shopping and dining) are the best in the industry, and we're excited to add new members to the team. We operate differently from traditional booth‑rent shops. Instead of paying rent, covering all expenses, and going without benefits, our professionals are employees
. That means no chair fees, booth rent, and no solo tax burden

You'll receive health insurance options, PTO, and ongoing support

Our shop is open from:

• 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday
• 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday

Full- and part-time positions are available, and we're currently focusing on hiring closers.

• Current Texas barber license
• Solid hair-cutting skills and techniques
• Reliable, customer service-focused mentality
• A coachable mindset and an openness to learning new things
• Availability to work closing shifts and at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)

We're motivated to provide the best client experiences possible, and we're hiring people who believe in the same! You'll make clients feel welcome and comfortable in the chair before speaking with them to understand what they're looking for. Then, you'll do whatever they ask, giving clipper cuts, fades, fresh styles, beard services, and more. You'll maintain a clean and professional environment and keep your workstation TDLR-Compliant.
