Job Summary:

Austin Heart is seeking a part-time (.6 FTE) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board-certified ACNP or PA
• No FNPs
• Experience working with interventional and general cardiologists preferred
• Prior cardiology experience is a plus
• Call: 7 weekends per year
• Work schedule:
  
  24 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Responsibilities include inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic work
• Start date:
  
  ASAP
• Licensed to practice in Texas
• The APP will obtain patient histories, perform examinations, order tests, develop treatment plans, monitor therapeutic interventions, and provide patient education under the supervision of a cardiologist.
• Must have strong EHR skills and excellent organizational and communication abilities.
