Veterinary Hospital Day Porter

Ensure cleanliness, organization and safety throughout the veterinary hospital to support daily function and patient care. The role supports all areas—medical, administrative, and communal—and creates a professional environment for clients, patients, and staff.

$15–$17 hourly, based on experience.

• Full Time:
  Monday – Friday, 7/8 am – 4/5:30 pm

• Maintain client‑facing spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Perform daily walkthroughs to identify and address visible issues.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment rooms, isolation areas, bathrooms, offices, reception, break rooms, and hallways.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors as needed.
• Empty and replace trash and recycling bins.
• Sanitize restrooms regularly.
• Keep reception area neat and sanitary.

• Laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and towels.
• Transport retail and food supplies to reception.
• Escort incoming pets to designated areas as required.
• Assist with minor maintenance projects inside and occasionally outside the hospital.
• Perform additional cleaning or support tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in a clinical laboratory or veterinary setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication with coworkers and clients.
• Willingness to learn new tasks quickly.
