Description

This role focuses on providing specialized mental health support to individuals and teams whose work involves regular exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content. The aim is to mitigate the unique psychological impacts of such exposure and promote resilience within these demanding roles.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Contracted at 4 hours per week with the flexibility to increase hours based on demand
  • This is currently a virtual-only role however, the provider must be prepared for the possibility of a transition to required in-person work at a designated office location in the future, subject to business needs
  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment virtually and support specifically addressing the psychological impact of exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content, including but not limited to trauma-focused interventions
  • Conscientious adherence to confidentiality issues, and the ability to act in compliance with local laws, regulations, and appropriate industry guidelines
  • Comply with relevant employer policies (such as workplace safety, COVID protocols, etc.)
  • Coordinate and effectively communicate with Lyra team members and the employer's key contact to ensure integrated support
  • Participate in Customer-driven opportunities or Customer-sponsored initiatives, as appropriate, to raise awareness of available support
Requirements
  • Must reside in the Austin area and be available for a regular on-site/remote hybrid schedule.
  • Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC) or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Unrestricted license (i.e., able to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
  • Current Psy Pact authorization and/or licensed in multiple states, enhancing accessibility for a dispersed workforce
  • Skilled in exclusively providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure therapy, EMDR), with a demonstrated focus on trauma-informed care
  • Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused work and supporting individuals who have experienced primary or secondary trauma
  • Understanding of the unique psychological impacts of exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content and the ability to tailor interventions accordingly
  • Awareness and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences, especially as individuals may process difficult content differently
  • Familiarity with the challenges associated with high-achieving cultures, performance pressures, and organizational change within demanding environments
  • Full-time resident of the United States
Preferred
  • Doctorate degree in clinical psychology
  • Current Psy Pact authorization or willingness/ability to obtain
