Expressive Therapist; Licensed Prn

Music, Art, or Recreational Therapist – PRN (Part‑Time). The Therapist will provide art, music and therapeutic recreation services to patients, including direct therapy, evaluative activities, and coordination of hospital‑wide activities.

The Therapist will:

• Provide direct art, music, and recreational therapy to patients.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Coordinate and facilitate hospital‑wide recreational activities.
• Assist in crisis resolution and promote positive self‑awareness, social skills, and personal growth.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Art, or Music from an accredited institution.
• Certification with NCTRC, CTRS, MT‑BC, and ATR in Texas.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience working with child, adolescent, and adult populations.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and carry objects up to 25 lbs; fit to demonstrate recreation activities and restrain patients using approved methods.
