Travel CT Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing – Radiology is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, Texas.

Hours:

40 per week, 8‑hour nights.

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

• Active ARRT certification.
• Other certifications or licenses relevant to the position.

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, reading, writing, and following instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.
• Professionalism and positive attitude when working with diverse personnel.
• Fine manipulation and motor skills for assisting with procedures.
• Capacity to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and maintain concentration under pressure.
• Visual acuity and effective communication.
