Fusion Medical Staffing – Radiology is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, Texas.

Hours:
40 per week, 8‑hour nights.
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Active ARRT certification.
- Other certifications or licenses relevant to the position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, reading, writing, and following instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lb), push, pull, and bend.
- Professionalism and positive attitude when working with diverse personnel.
- Fine manipulation and motor skills for assisting with procedures.
- Capacity to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and maintain concentration under pressure.
- Visual acuity and effective communication.
