As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you are responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing for diagnostic/interventional cases, and hemodynamic monitoring. You will assist in ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring cost efficiency, providing relevant information toward future needs, and actively supporting process improvement within the department.
Responsibilities- Scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
- Monitor and document procedures in the hemodynamic system.
- Educate patients and family members regarding the technical aspects of the procedure.
- Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Cath Lab / Special Procedures Lab experience – Preferred
- High School Diploma – Required
- Associate degree or above – Preferred
- Current enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program – Preferred
- BLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy
- ACLS Certification as per St. David’s Healthcare policy – Required within 6 months
- RCIS, or RCES, or RT (R) license from an accrediting body – Required within 12 months
