Travel MRI Technologist

Job Summary

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, Texas. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

As an MRI Technologist, you will:

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to the procedure.
• Interpret doctors’ written instructions accurately.
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment in compliance with regulations.
• Assist the radiologist with procedure performance.
• Start IVs, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images, sequence of exposure and label appropriately.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

• 1 year of experience in MRI.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging; additional certifications may be required.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods; sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay package will be based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job .
