Caregiver
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in their homes or healthcare facilities
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Lift and transfer individuals who may have limited mobility or require assistance
Provide hospice care and support to individuals and their families during end-of-life stages
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information
Offer direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
Assist with medication reminders and administration, as directed by healthcare professionals
Clean and maintain a safe environment for individuals under your care
Skills:
Experience with ADLs and providing personal care to individuals
Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and documenting them appropriately
Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals, as required for the role
Familiarity with hospice care practices and providing emotional support to patients and families
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining privacy and confidentiality
Experience in direct support roles, such as working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes
Valid driver's license for transportation purposes, if required for the position
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining a clean environment
