Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Lead Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be more than an expert in the lab—you’ll be the guide who sets the standard for excellence. In this role, you’ll balance lifesaving, hands-on patient care with the responsibility of mentoring, coaching, and empowering your team. • Leading by example during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring precision, safety, and compassionate care
• Coaching, mentoring, and precepting team members to build confidence, skill, and alignment with best practices
• Overseeing workflow, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining a safe, sterile, and fully prepared environment
• Advocating for patients and families throughout the care journey, providing guidance, education, and reassurance
• Driving team success by supporting hiring, onboarding, and communication of new practices and standards

• Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures Lab experience - required
• Lead Cardiac Cath Lab experience - preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED - required
• Associates degree - preferred
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, part of St. David’s Health Care, is a full-service medical center providing comprehensive medical care at two locations – St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and St. David’s Surgical Hospital. St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is a 460+ bed, multi-specialty, acute care hospital. It provides advanced women’s health services, including maternity and newborn care with Level I, II, and III neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) at the nearby St.

David’s Women’s Center of Texas. The hospital also offers minimally invasive gynecological surgery and comprehensive breast imaging through Solis Mammography, which is located on-site.
