• Transport patients to and from departments, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Escort patients, verify orders, isolation status, and identity.
• Operate multiple modes of transportation and maintain transport equipment.
• Complete the patient safety checklist prior to transport.
• Prepare procedure rooms, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready.
• Assist patients with records, documents, and assessments.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and handle malfunctions.

• 1 year of experience as a Transporter – preferred
• 1 year of direct patient care experience – preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St.David's Healthcare policy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
