Paramedic - Radiology & Growth

Position Summary

Performs daily check of supplies and equipment, monitors and maintains adequate levels, reorders as necessary, assesses patients, completes screening forms, performs quality assurance of patient schedules, prepares for patient care including sedations, lab results, and verifying orders, performs insertion and removal of IV catheters, assists with injection of contrast material, monitors patients post exam to ensure safety.

• Perform daily check of supplies and equipment and reorder as necessary.
• Assess patients for medical history, medications, allergies, and contraindications.
• Complete screening forms and perform quality assurance of patient schedules throughout the shift.
• Prepare for patient care, including sedation, lab results, and verifying orders.
• Insert and remove IV catheters per policy.
• Assist with injection of contrast material as needed.
• Monitor patients post‑exam and act accordingly to ensure safety.

• Graduate of a recognized, approved Paramedic program.
• Current Texas state license.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• One year of paramedic experience in EMS service and/or emergency room.
• Two years of intensive care or radiology experience preferred.
