We’re looking for an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with deep expertise in prostate ultrasound imaging to support medical annotation and imaging review initiatives. This role is ideal for sonographers who specialize in prostate exams and enjoy teaching, explaining imaging findings, and working with advanced medical technology.
What You’ll Do- Perform detailed review and annotation of prostate ultrasound images (TAUS/TRUS)
- Identify, optimize, and measure prostate anatomy with high accuracy
- Recognize and distinguish normal anatomy, pathology, and imaging artifacts
- Explain and present prostate scans, including measurements and anatomical findings
- Support prostate segmentation and multi-plane imaging workflows
- Collaborate with clinical, technical, and annotation teams to ensure data quality
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- RDMS certified by ARDMS
- Abdomen (AB) Specialty Certification
- 5+ years of clinical experience, with a strong focus on prostate ultrasound
- Experience in Radiology inpatient and/or Urology outpatient settings
- Currently performing prostate-specific exams (1–2/day or 5–10/week) using TAUS or TRUS
- Strong knowledge of:
Seminal vesicles, Bladder neck, BPH enlargement patterns, Nodules & calcifications, Median lobe hypertrophy (IPP), Prostate asymmetry
- TAUS imaging experience
- CME in prostate or urologic ultrasound (e.g., AMA PRA Category
1) - Experience with trace (planimetry) measurements
- Familiarity with prostate segmentation and multi-plane imaging
- Teaching or mentoring experience in prostate ultrasound exams
