About the RoleLaunch your career at the forefront of healthcare innovation as an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES). In this hands‑on, customer‑facing role, you will support KARL STORZ’s advanced surgical technologies directly within a hospital setting, working alongside Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and Bio Med teams.
This position offers a unique opportunity to build deep clinical and technical expertise while making a direct impact on patient care. From troubleshooting equipment during live procedures to managing surgical instrument readiness, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful outcomes in high‑stakes environments.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 1PM-9:30PM
Work Environment: Full‑time, on‑site at assigned hospital location
- Provide hands‑on, face‑to‑face support to OR, SPD, and Bio Med teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain video towers, endoscopic systems, and surgical instruments in real‑time clinical environments
- Inspect, clean, sterilize, and transport instruments while coordinating repairs, replacements, and service transactions
- Support surgical procedures by quickly resolving technical issues and ensuring equipment readiness
- Track and manage inventory, service needs, and reporting through organized documentation and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, or a medical environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in fast‑paced, service‑oriented healthcare settings
- Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs. and working in clinical environments
Nice to Have:
- CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification
- Prior experience supporting surgical equipment or medical devices
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong, respectful relationships across clinical teams
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, especially in high‑pressure surgical environments
- A customer‑first approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support
- Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to advanced medical technologies
