All Shifts needed, pay rates averaging $13-$16 per hour! Full time or part time available, start immediately!!

Job Summary:

Primary function is to provide non-health care related services to the client in their place of residence or a facility; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with client and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction of a registered nurse.

Job Qualifications:
  • Education:

    High School Diploma preferred.
  • Licensure:
    Must have current drivers license.

    Experience:

    One year experience preferred.
  • Skills:

    Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly. Hepatitis B consent/declination.
  • Transportation:
    Reliable transportation and valid current auto liability insurance.
Environmental and

Working Conditions:

Works in patient’s homes in various conditions, possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids and infectious diseases, the ability to work a flexible schedule, the ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.

Physical and Mental Effort:

Prolonged standing and walking required. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines, to identify patient needs, to make quick decisions and meet patient/family psycho social needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Essential Functions:
  • Provides companionship to client. Provides preparation of meals. Provides a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
  • Provides an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and problems to agency management.
  • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency through attending required in services.
  • Promotes the agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
