Position: Full-Time Telehealth Dietitian (Salary + Benefits) Mountain Time

Overview

Simplex Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to provide telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy using an integrative and functional nutrition approach. This is a fully remote, full-time role offering a consistent schedule and the opportunity to build deep, ongoing relationships with patients.

Unlike many outpatient roles, this position offers a full-time, salaried structure with benefits, providing stability and consistency in your schedule and income—while giving you the flexibility to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

The ideal candidate has experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling, is licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Pennsylvania, and is passionate about delivering personalized, root‑cause care to support long‑term health outcomes.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Schedule Options:
    Choose between a 4‑day (32‑hour) or 5‑day (40‑hour) work week, with flexibility to design a schedule that fits both your preferences and your patients’ needs.
  • Reports to:

    Clinical Manager
  • Compensation:
    • 32 hours/week (4‑day work week): $44,000–$59,000 annually
    • 40 hours/week (5‑day work week): $55,000–$70,000 annually
    • Final schedule and compensation are aligned based on candidate preference, experience, and availability.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about integrative and functional nutrition.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, growth‑minded environment.
  • Has at least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.
  • Hold current registration with CDR.
  • Is credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies.
  • Will spend more time with patients and less time running a business.
  • To avoid conflicts of interest, candidates should not maintain an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.
Preferred
  • Availability for evening appointments strongly preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) strongly preferred.
  • IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential a plus); actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome.
Role Responsibilities
  • Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach.
  • Implement Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational materials in patient care.
  • Assess the nutritional health of patients/clients and develop personalized, root‑cause care plans.
  • Create and modify individualized nutrition interventions based on patient needs and goals.
  • Document all new and follow‑up appointments in the Healthie platform with strong attention to detail.
  • Respond to patient communications in a timely, professional, and supportive manner.
  • Collaborate with team members through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities.
  • Communicate openly and effectively to resolve work‑related issues and support team outcomes.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and ongoing clinical initiatives.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health.
  • Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow‑ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes.
