Responsibilities / essential functionsThe person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Follows the instructions of the PAS Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
- Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
- Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light house keeping, laundry, wash dishes.
- Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans).
- Observe and report any safety hazards found in the clients home or any significant observations regarding the client.
- Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
- Report client complaints to the PAS Supervisor.
- Maintain client confidentiality/adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual.
- Possess the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Report abnormal findings in clients conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

QualificationsWe’re looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who truly enjoy helping others. The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a related field (preferred but not required)
- Ability to follow care plans and maintain clear communication
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel is required)
- Clear background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
