Help Build the Future of Integrated Neuroscience Care

At UT Health Austin, we're expanding our Neurosciences service line as part of our continued growth into a fully integrated academic medical center—and we're building an interdisciplinary team that recognizes behavioral health as an essential part of whole-person care.

This isn't a traditional outpatient therapy role.

As an LCSW embedded within our Neurology and Neurosurgery clinics, you'll partner directly with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to address the behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial factors that influence neurological health and recovery. Together, we're creating a more connected, value-based model of care that improves outcomes while enhancing the patient experience.

If you're passionate about integrated behavioral health, interdisciplinary collaboration, and helping shape an innovative Neurosciences program, we'd love to meet you.

Why Join UT Health Austin? Help Build a Growing Neurosciences Program

Join a team that's expanding neurological services to meet the growing needs of Central Texas while helping define how integrated behavioral healthcare supports patients throughout their journey.

Practice True Integrated Care

Behavioral health isn't an add-on here—it's embedded into patient care. You'll collaborate daily with neurologists, neurosurgeons, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other specialists to develop coordinated treatment plans that support the whole person.

Make a Meaningful Difference

Work with patients navigating complex neurological conditions, chronic illness, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and life transitions—helping them build resilience, improve functioning, and achieve better health outcomes.

Grow With an Innovative Academic Health System

As UT Health Austin continues expanding clinical services and advancing value-based care, you'll have opportunities to grow professionally while contributing to an organization that's intentionally reimagining healthcare delivery.
