Job Summary And QualificationsAs the Medical Office Specialist, you will be responsible for scheduling patient procedures across a multi-provider appointment system. You will process patients into and out of the clinic including preparation of medical charts in a manner that provides a public image of caring and professionalism and facilities patient flow. You will maintain patient records in a confidential and organized manner and facilitates general communications for the clinic.
You will provide assistance to ensure Occupational Health Services (OHS) efficiently and provides high quality services in accordance with the organization's mission, vision, values and goals.
- You will be responsible for processing incoming patients into the clinic system
- You will be responsible for answering phones and scheduling procedures/exams
- You will be responsible for checking out patients treated at Occupational Health Services
- You will maintain and assemble patient medical records
- You will perform clerical functions related to medical office operations
- 6 months in a medical setting - preferred
- Bilingual - preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
