Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
The contract duration is for 13 weeks with a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.The role requires rotations for nights and weekends.
The typical patient ratio on the unit is 4:1.There are 32 beds within the unit.
Staffing includes a mix of registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, medics, and patient care technicians.
Candidates must possess essential skills required for emergency procedures.
These include lumbar puncture, intubations, thrombolytic therapy, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting.
The ideal candidate is a great team player who anticipates both patient and department needs.
The dress code includes navy blue scrubs and a navy blue zip-up sweater.
Pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable attire.
Positions available allow for further opportunity for permanent placement in the department.
