We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Physical Therapist (DPT) to join a growing outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized plans of care, implementing evidence-based treatment interventions, performing re-evaluations, discharge planning, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, communicating with referring providers, and supervising support staff as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
- Provide evidence-based treatment interventions for orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
- Conduct re-evaluations and discharge planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with APTA standards and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), technicians, and students as appropriate.
- Educate patients on diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs (HEP), wellness, and injury prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, mentorship programs, and continuing education.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current Texas Physical Therapist License (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current CPR Certification.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment.
- 2-5 years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
- Manual Therapy experience.
- Sports Medicine experience.
- Strong interpersonal and patient relationship skills.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
