Patient Services Specialist - Primary Care | Austin Downtown

Baylor University Medical Center -  - Responsibilities:
Assist with patient duties, including relations, check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones;
Assists with patient registration by collecting and verifying insurance information; verifies demographics;
Accepts payments for physician/clinic services and posts payments; generates daily payment reports;
Provides accurate patient, medical, financial or procedural information to patients or approved outside entities; discusses financial arrangements as needed;
Receives and directs phone calls; assists patients and visitors; responds to inquiries; assists with medical records duties as requested
