Central Health is seeking a Health Information Management Specialist to audit and organize medical records, manage EMR queues, and process patient information requests. You will retrieve PHI from PACs and external EMRs, ensure chart accuracy, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies.
The role requires 3 years of healthcare experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred), and RHIT certification is advantageous.
