Contract Nicu Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Days/Weekends Rotate;
No Call

We are seeking a skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to neonatal patients while ensuring adherence to industry standards and protocols. The role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status.
• Perform ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper infection control practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT certification.
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in NICU or pediatric respiratory care is preferred.
