Clinical Outreach Liaison

A subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the largest and most respected providers of hospital and behavioral healthcare services, Thousand Branches Wellness is seeking an experienced Clinical Outreach Liaison who enjoys the excitement and challenges of a start-up to join our team in Austin, TX!
This role is responsible for the execution of outreach activities with a strong clinical lens, ensuring referral partners are supported in identifying appropriate level-of-care placements. Working within established outreach priorities, the Liaison will serve as a clinical resource in the community, helping bridge gaps between providers and treatment services. This is a field-based, externally focused role and does not include responsibility for internal program operations, staffing, or clinical service delivery.
This position may entail evening and/or weekend hours as needed for community events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing assigned outreach plans with a focus on clinically appropriate referral development
- Building and maintaining relationships with referral partners, including therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and community providers
- Conducting regular in-person outreach, meetings, and follow-ups to maintain strong community presence
- Collaborating with Admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate and timely referral transitions
- Tracking outreach activity and referral trends to support consistency and follow-through

Qualifications include:
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field preferred
- Active licensure or registration strongly preferred
- 1–3+ years of experience in behavioral health (clinical, case management, or utilization review experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of behavioral health diagnoses and levels of care (IOP/PHP/residential)
- Established relationships within the behavioral health community
- Experience with CRM or referral tracking systems
