Role Overview :

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to adapt to the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.

Document and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to the team or family members.

Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with clients.

Adhere to all safety and health protocols while providing care in clients' homes.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

Experience in caregiving or in a similar role, preferably in a home care setting.

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Empathy and patience when working with clients, particularly the elderly and disabled.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Bonus If You:

Have CPR and First Aid certification.

Are fluent in additional languages.

Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Employment Type

& Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available from Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Austin, Texas.
