Physical Therapist Assistant
The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers school-based services for our students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success, maintain required documentation, participate in ARD/IEP processes where applicable, and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
- Assist with mobility and motor interventions.
- Document student progress.
- Support adaptive equipment implementation.
- Participate in IEP/ARD meetings as requested.
- Collaborate with teachers and families.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensure student safety.
- Follow district policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Associate degree and active Texas PTA license.
Preferred Qualifications- School or pediatric experience.
- Strong communication.
- Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes.
