Description

Hyde Park Schools is seeking a Board Certified and Texas Licensed Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our Christ-centered Athletics Department. Working alongside the Head Athletic Trainer, this full-time position plays a vital role in protecting the health, safety, and performance of our student-athletes through injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-play planning. The Assistant Athletic Trainer collaborates closely with coaches, physicians, parents, and school administrators to provide exceptional care while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting compliance with TAPPS regulations.

More than a healthcare professional, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is a mentor and servant leader who invests in the lives of students both on and off the field. The ideal candidate will embrace Hyde Park's core values of Christ-Centered Culture, Biblical Worldview, Excellence, and Community, building meaningful relationships while helping student-athletes grow physically, mentally, spiritually, and competitively. This full-time, year-round position requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and athletic events and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within one of the premier Christian athletic programs in Texas.

  • Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and managing medical records
  • Knowledge of TAPPS rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated understanding of the medical needs, expectations, and care of student-athletes
