Reports To:

Occupational Therapist / Director of Rehabilitation

Provides OT services under supervision of a licensed OT. Assists patients in regaining daily living and independence.

• Carry out OT treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care.
• Document services and report progress to OT.
• Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff.

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license to practice as a Certified OT Assistant.
• Experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation preferred.

• Knowledge of OT activities.
• Ability to follow OT instructions.
• Strong communication skills.

• Lifting, standing, walking, bending.
• Work in healthcare and LTC facility environment.
