Role Description

This on-site Occupational Therapist role is based at Kid Therapy’s clinic in Austin, TX. The Occupational Therapist will assess children’s developmental, motor, sensory, and functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans to support participation in daily activities at home, school, and in the community. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct pediatric occupational therapy sessions, documenting evaluations and progress notes, collaborating with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members, and educating families on strategies to support therapy goals.

The Occupational Therapist will also participate in care planning, maintain regulatory and ethical standards, and contribute to a positive, child-centered clinical environment.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in pediatric populations.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working collaboratively with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Texas.
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience in a pediatric clinical, school-based, or early intervention setting is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage a caseload, and uphold professional and ethical standards of practice.
