Responsibilities- Able to work independently under the direction of the Pharmacist In Charge or Lead Travel Pharmacy Technician
- Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities
- Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS)
- Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS
- Assist with trouble shoot ADS issues
- Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines
- Prepacks medications
- Handle foils medication into blister cards
- Maintain active communication with PIC and Lead and pharmacy staff
- Utilize reporting applications (my Qlink, Omni Center)
- Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
- Replace potentially expiring inventory
- Restock depleted inventory
- Monthly audits (cycle count)
- Provide reports for the facility
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
- Important
:
Must be local to Austin, Texas area. - Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician
- Previous pharmacy experience required. (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
- Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Ability to physically perform light lifting.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Willing to drive long distances in the State of Texas.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
