Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms a variety of clerical tasks related to maintaining accurate patient diet orders and preparation of the patient meal orders. Good organization and guest relation skills are necessary in maintaining an efficient diet office.

Experience Preferred: 1 year experience in Healthcare institution as Diet Technician
Education Required:
High School Graduate/Equivalent or minimum of 5 years dietary experience in lieu of diploma/GED
Education Preferred:
Associates degree in Nutrition
Licenses and Certifications
Required:
Food Handler Certification

St. David's Medical Center, Heart Hospital of Austin, and St. David's Georgetown Hospital. Located in Central Austin, St. David's Medical Center features a 371-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
