We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service who has a genuine interest in geriatric care and can motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. The right candidate strives to do the best job possible, is creative, and works toward accomplishing facility goals.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nurses, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents in a 24‑hour operation, primarily for their activities of daily living, assistance with therapeutic activity programs, restorative programs, and documentation as required by the facility.

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, toileting, bathing, and exercising.
• Assists residents in and out of bed or wheelchair with proper transfer equipment.
• Records vital signs, nourishment logs, and other patient records as necessary.
• Maintains, organizes, and fully stocks the bedside unit.
• Changes linen, makes beds, and keeps resident rooms tidy.
• Responds to all call lights promptly.
• Assists in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents by maintaining privacy, accommodating individual preference, promoting independence, encouraging and assisting participation in facility activities and events, and communicating respectfully at all times.

• Current State of Texas Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance coverage, and have access to an automobile.
• Must be able to push a minimum of 200 lbs and push that weight a minimum distance of 200 ft.
