Job Summary:

Intake specialists utilize aperson-centered, trauma-informed, recovery focused approach to forge therapeutic relationships with racially and culturally diverse individuals:

Toassess their psychiatric needs.
Togather psychosocial history.
To evaluate individual strengths, needs, and goals.
Todefine and facilitate desired life outcomes.
Coordinate and manage client crises when they arise.
Identify potential service gaps and advocate with providers to ensure services are appropriate and adequate to clients' needs and preferences.

Intake specialists work under the general supervision of theunit manager and/or the LPHA supervisor with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Intake specialists who are master's Level clinicians are eligible for clinical supervision towards advance licensure froma board-certified supervisor, while employed with Integral Care. Intake specialists who are masters level clinicians will have an opportunity toprovide living skills training to clients under the supervision of an LPHA.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with amajor specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

Master's degree preferred.

Salary:

$24.18 - $25.39, an hour based on education.
