• Manage inventory and prepare medications for final check by a pharmacist.
• Deliver medications to patient areas and conduct medication area inspections.
• Provide technical assistance and perform clerical duties.
• Guide others as needed and work under limited supervision with initiative and judgment.
• Ensure adherence to professional, legal, and ethical standards, as well as applicable laws and policies.

• Must comply with all HHSC, hospital, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies.
• Negative PPD within last 12 months and successful passing of drug screen and background check required.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis Med Station system, medication room inspections, and manual/automated repackaging preferred.

Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:30pm. No 12-hour shifts. Availability for 9 consecutive days of training, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, is required. Work environment is on-site; remote work is not available.
