Position: Caregiver (Mon-Thu 8am-2pm, must drive)
Role Overview:
At Homewatch Care Givers of Southwest Austin, our caregivers play a vital role in improving the lives of seniors and adults through compassionate in-home care. In this position, you’ll partner closely with our office team to deliver reliable, individualized support that helps clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules are available to fit your availability.
This position is primarily for a current client located in Austin. Potential for other clients is available at other locations in Southwest Austin.
Key Responsibilities:Help clients stay on track with prescribed medication schedules through timely reminders.Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.Support safe mobility and assist clients with everyday routines and activities.Build meaningful connections by offering companionship, conversation, and emotional encouragement.Help with transportation, grocery shopping, errands, and appointments as needed.Qualifications:You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
Must be able to drive your own vehicleExperience in providing care to seniors or adults.Compassionate and reliable with a strong ethical commitment.Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.Ability to follow care plans and make adjustments as necessary.Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.Bonus If You:
Have a certification in caregiving or related fields.Possess additional language skills for better communication with a diverse clientele.Employment Type& Availability:
This position is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thusday 8am-2pm.
Location:This position is on-site only, serving the Austin area primarily and surrounding locations in Texas.
