Pain Management Practice | Bastrop & North Austin, TX

We are a growing pain management practice seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Medical Front Desk to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring that daily clinic operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This position works at two clinic locations:

• Monday: Bastrop, TX
• Tuesday–Friday: North Austin, TX

Reliable transportation and the ability to work at both locations are required.

The Medical Front Desk Representative will be responsible for:

• Greeting patients and providing a professional, welcoming check-in and check-out experience
• Answering and routing incoming phone calls
• Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
• Verifying and updating patient demographic information, insurance information, identification, pharmacy, and contact information
• Collecting copays, deductibles, and other patient-responsibility balances as appropriate
• Scanning and maintaining accurate patient documentation
• Documenting patient communications and telephone encounters
• Communicating effectively with providers, clinical staff, billing, authorization, and other team members
• Monitoring schedules and helping maintain an efficient patient flow
• Responding professionally to patient questions and concerns
• Protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements
• Completing other administrative duties necessary to support daily clinic operations

Our practice uses eClinical

Works (eCW) as our electronic medical record system.

Previous eClinical

Works experience is strongly preferred
, but candidates with experience using other medical EMR/EHR systems will also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person — Bastrop on Mondays and North Austin Tuesday through Friday

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous medical front desk, medical receptionist, or patient services experience
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office
• Has excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Is organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities at once
• Pays close attention to detail and documentation
• Is comfortable communicating with patients by phone and in person
• Understands the importance of accurate insurance and demographic information
• Is dependable, punctual, and professional
• Works well as part of a team
• Is comfortable learning and using electronic medical record systems

Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, neurology, or another specialty medical practice is a plus.

The ideal candidate understands that the front desk is more than a check-in station. It is a central communication point for the entire practice. Accurate documentation, clear communication, attention to detail, and excellent patient service directly affect clinical care, scheduling, authorizations, billing, and the overall patient experience.
