Recruitment Specialist
to join our team!
Tekton Research is seeking a motivated and organized Patient Recruitment Specialist to join our team. This position supports clinical research recruitment efforts and works closely with the Recruitment Manager, clinical operations team, coordinators, and support staff to help achieve study enrollment goals.
Reports To:
Recruitment Manager
- Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to meet patient recruitment and enrollment goals.
- Make and receive recruitment phone calls and communicate professionally with prospective study participants.
- Learn and understand study-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
- Understand and clearly communicate study eligibility and enrollment requirements to patients and staff.
- Adhere to study enrollment timelines and screening schedule guidelines.
- Clearly and patiently explain study requirements and screening-visit information to prospective participants.
- Identify recruitment challenges and communicate them to the Recruitment Manager.
- Suggest potential solutions to recruitment barriers when appropriate.
- Organize daily recruitment activities and prioritize calls based on direction from site staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with clinical operations managers, study coordinators, and support staff.
- Provide status updates related to recruitment activities and progress.
- Work collaboratively as a productive member of the Tekton Research team.
- Promote a positive, professional, and harmonious work environment.
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and professional phone etiquette.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to think and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Upbeat, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
- Medical knowledge or clinical research experience is an advantage.
- GED or HS Diploma required (Some College preferred)
- Previous experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, healthcare, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Monday - Friday
12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Weekends may be required
