We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong domain expertise in pharmacology, toxicology, biomedical/clinical sciences, or medical devices, and hands-on experience with Embase, to support literature search and review functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct systematic literature searches and reviews using Embase and related biomedical databases
- Screen, extract, and summarize relevant scientific/clinical data from literature
- Ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance of literature findings for regulatory, safety, or research purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (medical writing, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, or R&D as applicable) to deliver literature insights
- Maintain documentation standards and search audit trails
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field or PharmD
- Minimum 2+ years of current, hands-on experience in pharmacology/toxicology, biomedical/clinical sciences, or medical devices
- Demonstrated working experience with Embase (mandatory)
- Strong analytical and scientific writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage search timelines
- Experience with other databases such as Pub Med, Scopus, or Cochrane
- Prior exposure to systematic literature reviews (SLR) or pharmacovigilance literature monitoring
- Familiarity with regulatory literature requirements (FDA, EMA, or similar)
