JOB SUMMARY
This position would primarily work AM Shifts but looking for a candidate with open availability to work AM/ Mid/ PM Shifts to meet the needs of the F&B outlets. The F&B Supervisor would assist in the execution breakfast service, amenity planning / delivery, mini-bar, room service, pool, restaurant and bar operations. The F&B Supervisor would be integral in administering training with staff to ensure company guidelines are upheld.
ESSENTIALDUTIES & FUNCTIONS
- Leading the F&B team with training to include a administering monthly menu knowledge and core value test.
- Assist Director of F&B maintaining Training Manuals with Training Topics.
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Lead team by example and ensure team members are following hotel guidelines
- Work with Director of F&B to oversee supplies, inventory and purchasing
- Experience in F&B and/or hospitality preferred
- Leadership experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency POS Systems to include TABIT – Mini-Bar System – Stay in Touch and Alice systems.
- Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
- TABC and Food Handler Certifications
- F&B Supervisor will oversee and train servers as well as minibar attendants to ensure hotel standards are met.
- The F&B Supervisor will also be involved in interviewing, hiring, training, and planning staff development.
- Administering effective security processes and maintaining legally required health and safety procedures.
- Guest focused, optimistic, self-disciplined, self-starter.
- Problem solver, self-motivated, ability to learn more skills to better serve guests and the company.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.
- Multitask-oriented.

- Able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
- Must be able to speak and write in a language understood by manager and/or supervisor.
- Ability to communicate with guests, associates, and management.
- Ability to take direction and accomplish tasks and deadline set by management.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, follow-through courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
- Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately and complete incident reports as needed
- Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
- Sitting:
Frequently. Padded office chair, chair with back for breaks and meal periods. Completing required paperwork, answering emails, various other computer driven tasks. - Standing/Walking:
Frequently. Stairs, tile, rubber mats covering tile, concrete, padded carpet, marble, linoleum and gravel, etc. Inspecting the property. - Crouching (Bend at knees):
Frequently. Lifting, completing tasks performed at low levels, putting supplies and materials away. - Reaching:
Frequently Working on overhead equipment such as Air conditioning units, Lighting - Kneeling/Crawling:
Frequently. Perform plumbing repairs, carpet repairs, and other duties performed at low levels. - Enclosed Spaces:
Frequently:
Areas with restricted space such as ceiling spaces, etc. - Stooping (Bend at waist):
Frequently. Reading gauges and meters, lifting heavy objects, putting supplies and equipment away. - Twisting/Turning (Knees/waist/neck/back):
Frequently. Perform electrical and plumbing repairs, reading gauges and meters, follow up on projects. - Climbing:
Frequently. Ladders, step stools, and stairs. - Balancing:
Frequently. Climbing ladders, scaffolding, stairs, and carrying tools and equipment. - Lifting Carrying:
Frequently Equipment and Supplies up to 50 lbs. Occasionally:
