Hotel Van Zandt, situated between Rainey Street and Red River in Austin, offers a boutique experience highlighting the city's vibrant culture. Known for its music-inspired rooms and nightly live shows at Geraldine’s, the hotel provides a unique atmosphere for guests to immerse themselves in Austin’s creative soul. Guests can enjoy a rooftop pool, craft cocktails at Brass Poppy, and locally sourced coffee at 605, making it a refined hub for both relaxation and entertainment.

This is a full‑time, on‑site Host role based at Hotel Van Zandt in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Host will be responsible for welcoming and seating guests, managing reservations, assisting with event inquiries, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members for seamless service delivery and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor to represent the hotel’s standards of hospitality.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
• Proven customer service experience with a focus on creating welcoming and memorable guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations and the ability to support related services.
• Experience in sales and upselling to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
• Prior experience with training and mentoring team members is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience in hospitality is desirable.
